British boy band One Direction have broken yet another record in the states, this time with their single 'Live While We're Young' as it became the fastest selling single by a UK act in the States.

The total sales for the first week were 341,000 copies as it became the biggest song ever for an overseas group. Interestingly, the single barely made the top 3 on the UK charts.

The video for the song also drew a lot of views, breaking the record for most views in 24 hours until Justin Bieber broke the record only days later with his new video for 'Beauty and a Beat'.
